As we all know our good friend and owner of this site Travis lost everything in a fire. I have lost everything on more than one occasion and I know how devistating it can be. It feels as if a part of you went with it and I believe no one should have to experience this. So with all that said, I believe we should set up a gofundme account and/or donate stuff to Travis and his family to help them get back on their feet. I feel it is the least we can do for all he has given us through this site and also because it is the right thing to do. As a cancer patient, I know first hand the knowledge of one day being secure with life and then a bombshell tears that security apart. Ask yourself this; If it were you, wouldn't you want someone to be able to help you? We may not have a lot but we have each other and I truly believe we can help him out one way or another. Please feel free to share your thoughts on this. Kind regards, Jeremy
I appreciate the concern, but you don't have to worry, we're doing fine now. We found a nice house in Susanville, a few hours from Reno, Nv (We're on the California side). We had renter's insurance, and while doesn't cover everything, it got us enough to feel like we have some kind of life again. My room is looking like a retro tech museum again, LOL.
Again, thanks though, I really do appreciate the concern.
