It was back in 2007, when I designed this helicopter for my masters degree. It incorporated Wankel rotary engine, Bell Model 680 rotor and Lockheed anti-torque propulsion directional control system(kinda like NOTAR, but with additional forward thrust capability). I made a MS Flight Simulator 2004 video for presentation.

No, it was in aviation transport generally, let's say 99% about airplanes and maybe 1% about helicopters, they only mentioned that such thing as helicopter exists too. Everything I know about these heli(sh) machines, I learned by myself, parallel the studying time. In masters work was only preliminary design and some strength calculations. Additionally I built composite blade examples, but thous where for aircraft propellers, but technology could be used for helicopter blades too.
Hmmmm....what is the function of those vertical wings on the end of the tail?..is it for anti-torque in forward flight due to downwash becoming parallel to the main rotor plane?...
If You mean thous 4 vertical vanes in the end of the tail, they are for thrust vectoring. In hover and in slow horizontal flight they work like in NOTAR system. At cruise speeds two vertical fins provide necessary anti torque, then the 4 vanes deflect thrust not sideways but backwards to add forward thrust.
