I've played that one before, its pretty hard. I think its the control configuration that keeps messing me up. Not to mention the speed...

I just have bad timing. The proximity factor is annoying as hell, as you appear a few centimeters from an obstacle but apparently the sprite is set to that width and therefore causing your bird to crash. You have to be really careful on how close you are to both the obstacles and the barriers.

i know of a good helicopter game, but it isent free, its called Apache:air assault, it has good detail and a wide variaty of apaches and for stingray there are hinds

Jane's Longbow, yes. And how much is it? Depends on where you get it and if it was used or not. eBay has it really cheap (used) for maybe $6:00 or so.

The Digitcal Combat Simulation for Ka-50 Black Shark 2, Mi-8 and Huey are the best helicopter simulations out right now.

They are designed by the civilian branch of the military company that produces Helicopter simulation software for training of pilots and the best thing it is the belarussian company "Belsimtek" which is a company that workes for military and has engineers, pilots and mechanics working there from soviet times and are focusing now on both military and civil market with their experience and knowledge for high fidelity simulations.

It's still not close to the real deal. (Have even 'flown' sims at Bell Anderson TX and Ruckers pos) and you have a PC sim ? LMFAO

Don't know about you, A living room ain't living, Try a stint in South America Spotting tuna or Alaska going after Rain dear herds .

Last B-212 I had the pleasure working on and flying had so much in it's helipilot it would shoot it's own approach and that was with 1990s hardware.

If all you can get out of flying is in your living room you are not working hard enough.

What about people who cant afford better? What happened to just some casual fun? Let's not turn a game thread into 'which is more realistic" not everyone is in the same situation and everyone has different tastes/opinions. I originally started this thread to list free to play stuff anyway which includesa lot of simple flash-based browser games which are far from realistic but still fun to play.
