To be honest, I joined this forum to get info on early (1960s -1970s) USN helicopters. Whereas I am scrath building -80% done- a 1:96 scale -84" LOA- model of the USS Canbara CG-2; the USN's 2nd guided missil curser. Unlike her sister the USS Boston CG-1, Canbara had a helo pad. I'm looking for a scale -1:100 or 1:96- plastic of bird to perch on that pad. Thus I need either a kit or drawing for umm... an H47 chinock, UH43, H34? I'm not an expert on copters that said, suggestions are welcome. BTW I have a 1:96 copter to fly off the pad, but it's not the correct type and the only RC H46 in that scale requires a dead clam to maintain control.
Thanks for reading
Well we have something in common in that I dont know about Navy ships, lol but assuming you express interest in those types I suggest the SH-2 Seasprite or SH-3A Sea King which are from that era.
