Bhutan government has recently formed its first ever helicopter services company in the country. The government has decided on acquiring two H130s,each chopper costing about US $ 3.6 million. The first chopper is expected to arrive in 3rd November this year. The second will arrive in June next year. The establishment of the company is in conjunction to commemoration of the 60th birth anniversary of the 4th king of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. So, it's a golden opportunity for me to see if I can get employed there.

Good news and good luck :)
Hello everybody, sorry for the delay in uploading the images. Anyway, here are a few images of the helicopter after landing at the RBHSL (Royal Bhutan Helicopter Services Limited) helipad at Paro International Airport,Bhutan. Just today, the 31st of October,2015, it took off from the helipad for a 2 hour flight to qualify a validation test conducted by the Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority.
Still more to come!

Great pics, Tshetem, thanks for sharing! Hope your new job is working out well too.
Hello everybody, here are a few pics from what had happened here in my place on the 17th of this month..by the way,Captain Dave Peel and myself were on a medical evacuation mission. Evacuated two sick people from one of the remotest area of Bhutan. Everybody, including the patients and ourselves, is happy!..
A few images are from the testing of Bambi Bucket.
Thank you very much for you helpful advice, hillberg..and yes,the pilot and the operations personnel are planning to get a longer line for the Bambi bucket.. Coming to your 5th point, you're absolutely right that with a longer line, we'll have no problem in landing..since our line is quite short, the pilot had to first let the bucket touch the ground a few feet off the landing zone and hover back to land.. Anyway,I'll hopefully post about other operations too in the future. Kindest regards tsheten8
Always nice to see this kind of progres. Also nice to see pics of a Eurocopter/Airbus 'copter. Keep em coming!
Just got this amazing shot of the H130 in fire fighting mode.
Nice one... still with the short cables though.
