Riga-50 - Single-seat autogyro with 45hp (34kW) M-77 motorcycle engine and shortened Kamov Ka-18 blades.

  • Riga-50M - The Riga-50 with an embryonic nacelle.

Riga-59 - Single-seat autogyro.(?)

  • Riga-59M - Riga-59 with embryonic nacelle.

Riga-72 - Single-seat autogyro.

  • Riga-72M - Riga-72 with embryonic nacelle.

Riga-AS-2 - Single-seat towed amphibious autogyro with floats.

Chaika-1 - Single-seat towed autogyro.

Note this might have been just a private design by the same students, not entirely affiliated with Riga Aviation Institute, since it doesn't carry the "Riga" prefix in the designation.

Chronologically, The Chaika-1 (Seagull-1) was built after the Riga-50 and 59. The Riga-AS-2 was built shortly after it, followed by the Riga-72.

Hi,

it was called; Lenin Komosomol Institute RIGA.

Riga-74 was a two-seat parasol wing amphibian flying boat,powered by one 145 hp

M 332 inline engine,built and flown.
