Hi Folks,
New member, Old pilot.
Borne in Irvington New Jersey. Flew out of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, Received Private license at the Sussex Airport, New Jersey. Went on to earn commercial license and flew for business and pleasure up until three years, but remain involved in aviation.
For the past two and one half years I have been working as a Docent at the Evergreen Aviation Museum, McMinnville, Oregon. Some of the best times of my life.
More on that to follow.
The question that I have is back in 1946 while my dad was still in the service he had a friend by the name of George Exel who built his own helicopter, What was known as the model 100 (NX9392H). One day George took my dad for a ride in that helicopter.
I found one picture of this helicopter although a poor quality image.
Could you help me find out if there are any other photos of his helicopters?

Thank you

Bob Ruck

Welcome to the forum!

Exel's machines are very difficult to track down and I've had poor luck with them. However, I do have at least one photo of the Model 100 "Exelicopter" (attached below), though I don't know if this is the poor quality image you have already.

I'll definitely keep searching and let you know if I find more, though I'll likely post in a separate thread dedicated to Exel and these rotorcraft.
