We've had an unusual spike in new users lately, but those said new users don't even use the forum. Here is what I find most suspicious about them: The only field filled-in on their profiles is "full name" with a copy-paste of their username. Granted they all have different IP adresses, but I'm sure proxies come into play here. What are the chances about 20 of these new users having this exact same profile layout?
Seriously, go to page 7 of "members" and click on any one of them in the list and you'll see what I mean.
Just to let you know, whoever you are, I'm watching you.
Sure, use the forum as it should. But if I find out these really are multiple accounts, AND you're using them, then you will be banned perminantly. Your puppets will also be deleted.
Didn't Justin say he was making accounts for his friends for the forum games or something?
His friends (AFAIK, only a few) were making their own accounts, who happened to be using computers on a shared network at Justin's school, hence the identical IP adresses.
This is someone else entirely. All of the IPs are different, but have the exact same profile layout. And to further prove how fake they are, I watched one get registered before my eyes. On the map it said the person was connected from the US, then, refresh... connected from the UK (the person quickly changed their location info).
I'll keep my eyes out Stingy. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
