The "Fliegerfaust" was a German multi-barreled rocket launcher light enough to be used by one man. It was part of a late-war effort to develop a cheap and effective weapon to destroy Allied fighter-bombers. The projectiles were rocket-propelled 20mm anti-aircraft rounds.
It had very limited range and the the gunner had to be standing upright to fire it, exposing him to enemy fire. And since the rounds were too small for a proximity fuse, they would barely do any damage to the armor of aircraft like the P-27.
