Kaman once tested the Seasprite with a pair of jet engines in attempt to study a high-speed compound aircraft in the navalized role. Was this or was it not a part of this same program?

No, the "Compound Seasprite" was modified under the Army's Transportation Research Command contract to determine the capabilities and limitations of high-speed compound rotorcraft. The test program was completed in 1966 and the aircraft was reverted to the original configuration.
