Rotorcraft Silhouette Challenge
Permalink Closed

There are a couple of forums I browse regularly which have a thread much like this. I thought it would be a great idea to start one myself.

I attach an image of a helicopter side-view, but its silhouetted, leaving YOU to figure out what helicopter it is exactly! Whoever wins gets to post the next challenge (remember to keep the image silhouetted!). If no one gets it and I have to reveal the answer myself, I post the next one.
And please, don't cheat by searching the main site or the rest of the forum.
Ready?
Name that rotorcraft!

This will be fun!

Is it French? German? I think this is a Gezelle modification, but I have no idea about it.

Aerospatiale Ecureuil used for testing the Fenestron. I learned about that one from Jemiba somewhere. Did I win?

It has the obvious shape of a Eurocopter chopper but my mind is blank!

It has something of the Shahed 274 but it looks a lot better...

Easy, the Aerospatiale P-120 (early Eurocopter EC-120 conceptual layout)

UK + autogyro tractor configuration usually = Cierva.

As to which one I honestly do not know.

Then either a Hafner or Weir design. Did Westland build any like this?

I think you nailed it. Stingray, I don't think Weir because those designs had twin rotors.

Except for the W-3 single-rotor, single-seater. Let that be my answer.
