12guage flechettes?

I heard somewhere online about flechettes in 12 guage shells, does anyone know abuot these?

During the Vietnam War, the US employed 12 gauge combat shotguns that were used with flechette loads that consisted of around 20 flechettes per shell. Russia has the AO-27 rifle, and other countries have their own flechette rounds.

Flechettes were also used in rockets fired from the Super Cobra gunships.

I would run to see a AA-12 Automatic shotgun fire fully auto at me with a Drum in it

Ty Airfoil for agreeing and not being a Total rudeness about what i was thinking of a AA-12 Automatic shotgun shooting darts made of metal was like the battle of the alamo and what the texans put in there cannons to fire at mexicans like NAILS spoons etc...
